PL + 2017 + WK 1

Today I'm taking it back to 2014 and starting Project Life, again! I've tried this form of memory keeping for three years and have yet to complete an entire year. Starting it again this year doesn't necessarily mean I'll be finishing this year. It means that I'm tired of seeing all my scrapbooking goodies not being used. Not to mention the amount of cash I've spent on cards, stamps, paper, stickers, etc. So yeah, crossing my fingers once again.

This year I'm going back to the 12x12 format because the 9x12 format didn't do it for me. I blame switching sizes to not following through last year 🤷🏻‍♀️ I did so much research on the size and I was so excitamated when I finally jumped on a sale to buy the new binder and clear sheets. But no. It was a major fail on my part. I couldn't adapt to the smaller version with all the shit I wanted to add each week. What I am keeping is the Monday to Sunday weeks so that I can keep my weekends in one spread instead of splitting them up every week. I plan on cutting the ton of 12x12 pages I have for my backgrounds and keeping the journaling short.

FYI: These pictures are shit and I apologize. My camera's flash died (think I mentioned it before) so I've been improvising "light" in different ways.

Wish me luck 😁

Cards: Maggie Holmes Open Book Project Life Core Kit edition - one card on the cover. I also used a page from Cut & Paste MME by Jen Allyson that I received in an old Studio Calico kit.
Stamps: Kelly Purkey's Food Coma stamp set (affiliate), Studio Calico Mega Date Stamp
Stickers: me & my BIG ideas Pocket Pages (affiliate) and Dear Lizzy Yo-Yo thickers (affiliate)
Pictures: Printed with Canon SELPHY CP910 (affiliate)
Handwriting: Is wild as usual. I swear my handwriting is never the same. I like the sloppy journaling, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What is Project Life? Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. There are no rules or deadlines in my book. I use pictures and some journaling to show individual weeks. I started in 2014 and didn't finish. Continued in 2015 and didn't finish. Tried once again in 2016 and fell off. I guess by the fourth try it's kind of me hoping I'll continue further than the last years, but who knows.
