Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. I received this product from AT&T. All opinions are my own.
I have a 2013 Audi and I love her to pieces (not so much the note, haha)! But, there's one thing she doesn't have that bums me out and you're probably going to laugh at me about it. Bluetooth! Yeah, yeah I know #firstworldproblems but seriously how can a 2013 "luxury car" not come with Bluetooth? It baffles me, haha! I won't get into the details of her purchase and how we weren't fully satisfied because what's done is done and she's been really good to me. But no Bluetooth? Come on, man!
That's where this glorious Bluetooth headset by LG comes into play. The AT&T folks were kind enough to hook me up with an LG Tone Pro HBS-760 wireless headset. With freaking Bluetooth!! I was never really comfortable with the little apparatus that you hang on one of your ears and who really wants a bunch of wires everywhere?
Connecting the headset to my iPhone 6 was pretty easy. I used the left switch on the inside and waited for my phone to locate it. Hit connect and bam! I was in business! There's a button for all of the basics. You can listen to music or talk on the phone from the touch of one button near your collarbone. So, so easy. One of the things that I really love about this glorious headset is that it weighs 1.28oz which is like nothing! You don't notice it on your person until you feel something on your collarbone vibrating... totally freaked me out the first time I received a phone call and didn't have the earbuds on LOL!
Aside from using it in my Bluetooth-less car, I plan on using it for when we go bike riding. The weather in Houston is all over the place in the fall.. (and the spring, winter and summer) and with E's bike accident, chances of riding are super slim right now. I imagine it would also be nice to have this type of headset while studying, playing video games, doing laundry.. you get what I'm saying. Oh, and even better for audible books!! The fact that there are no crazy wires preventing you from doing stuff is glorious, no?
The battery impressed me, whereas my phones battery didn't (that's Bluetooth for ya). The quality of the sound also impressed me. There isn't an echo or the sound of dead air. Talk to text or talking to Siri has a little lag, but nothing that I can't work with.
Overall, I think this is a great headset and just right for my lifestyle. Don't tell Mama Carrizo (she totally doesn't read my blog) that I bought her one for Christmas... I mean, she put it on her Christmas list and Sandy Claws is going to hook her up!!
Thanks to the wonderful folks at AT&T for introducing me to this LG headset and for changing my Bluetooth world!
