The Paper Files | 3 - Batman

Today I'm sharing my newest finds in The Paper Files, three journals and a wicked pencil. I was doing my usual shopping at you know where and stopped in the clearance aisle. Tip: If you have a favorite store, look for the clearance section. It could potentially make your day. But I'm sure you knew this already, right? As I was moving shit around on the shelves to discover hidden goodies, I saw the glorious journal you see above. A DC Comics Bat-freaking-man lined journal!!! I struck freaking gold, man!!

The yellow is a bit much but it's Batman so who cares, right? Haha! I'm pretty sure the Paper Gods were totally shining their brightass light on me because the clearance section was full of gold & my wallet was not happy about it. I found a spiral notebook with the words, Live every day with intention, which I think is a very inspiring quote for a writing journal. It has four sets of different colored sheets and the sheets can be torn off smoothly. Another journal I found has the words, Some really great ideas sound stupid at first. But then, so do some really stupid ones, which I'm sure we can agree is also a good one.

Lastly, I found this wicked joker clown (?) pencil that has a pierced nose. As far as writing utensils go, I think you're definitely a cool kid if you use one of these. And in light of these sweet paper finds, I've decided to do a fantastical giveaway. It'll be The Paper Files first giveaway... more to come hopefully! So check out the widget below & sign up. The giveaway will include the two notebooks and the wicked pencil. No can do on the Batman notebook because Batman! #sorrynotsorry! The giveaway will be up for a week (08/12 - 08/20) & I hope you share it for more entries. Also, the giveaway is only available in the US and I will be emailing the winner so make sure you type your email correctly!

Good luck everyone!

  1. If I could have any hero on the cover of a journal it would be Storm. Growing up she was the only African woman I'd ever see in comic books and she was super fierce!

  2. The superhero I would love to see on a journal would be Starfire :) Though I'm not sure if she'd be considered more an alien than a superhero.

  7. I love notebooks, but I'm always hesitant to write in them and feel like I should save them. So I guess I love hoarding notebooks?

    1. I'm the exact same way with all my paper goodies. They are just too pretty and crisp to use so they hang out in my bookshelf until I'm ready. Which is never LOL

  10. If I could have any super hero on the cover of my journal... I don't think I'd care who, as long as she was dawn by Adam Hughes! Does Princess Lea count?
