Today I'm sharing Week 22 of my Project Life. The way I made this layout was very different for me. I used an entire 12x12 sheet from my paper hoarding box and two cards. I've thought about using a 12x12 before but wasn't inspired by any particular sheet. The one I used here has been hanging around my desk (w/ a few more I really like) and I felt like I was doing it an injustice.
If you hoard paper like I do, then you know how this goes. You buy said paper (or journal) because of it's coloring or texture. You convince yourself that you're going to use it and sometimes even have the perfect idea on how to use it. But we both know you're not going to use it. You'll stick it on a shelf or in a box with the rest of the guys who had hopes they'd be used. It's just inevitable when you're a paper hoarder (lover).
I really like that I finally used this 12x12 sheet but I'm not 100% sure that I used it right. I mean, it looks great as a background but because I prefer more black&white in my layouts.. this looks sort of funny to me. Anyways, this week we had the Memorial Day flood, enjoyed some waffle shaped pancakes, we bought our first big KALLAX from IKEA, celebrated National Burger Day (because why not), and got an interesting fact on my Snapple drink- Fish can drown. Who would have thought, right?
Are you working on Project Life too or another type of scrapbooking? I'd love to check it out!
P.S. Sorry about the lighting on the last picture, not sure what happened. :|

What is Project Life? Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. You use pictures with some journaling for each week of the year for an entire year. This is my second year (does last year even count?) doing PL & I'm excited to follow through.. I organize my PL cards by size, 3x4 or 6x4, not by who makes them. I do all my paper crafting goodies this way. Because of this, I won't be able to break each item down to the brand. But if I remember, I remember, haha!
