Weekend Snapshots | 6

Today's post is brought to you by the famous Remidog from The Remi Project. K, so he's not all that famous but lots of kids have been rescued under a project named after him and that makes him famous in their hearts! :) Isn't he a handsome fellow? He really has come a long way from the day he rescued us. <3

I'm keeping up with Project Life for a couple hours on Sundays and I'm really enjoying it. What I did this Sunday was figure out a way to organize my PL cards. Not necessarily by kit but by color. I like to mix and match my kits but not the colors so much. I really enjoy making my layouts with very few colors. The cards aren't completely organized yet, it's sort of a work in progress.

A month or so ago I finally organized my office bookcases. I've always wanted to have my books organized by color and now I do. I mean, look at this picture or this article on Apartment Therapy. It looks so neat and uniformed, right?

Fancypants got a much-needed hand wash this weekend. She enjoys E's hands on her but he needs a rest sometimes too yanno. The folks at Kingsland Car Wash hooked her up and were so freaking thorough. Definitely worth the $25 for an inside and outside clean. Plus they were all very polite and friendly. That's a major plus when you handle my Fancypants.

No, we didn't trade any of our cars in for a fast ass Charger. Cousin Bubba came over to change the oil and I snapped a picture. Having a garage has so many perks. I don't think I'll ever be able to live in a place that doesn't have a garage and a backyard. I'm a suburbs chick, I can't help it.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw my margarita picture on Saturday. I'm not much of a margarita drinker. I have them occasionally when it's been a good day or a special get together. Saturday definitely deserved one so when E and I hit up our favorite Mexican joint for an early dinner, I knew exactly what fruity drink I would ask for.

A while back I bought a little book. It's called Shit Happens So Get Over It by Summersdale. It's full of inspirational quotes that will make you laugh and applaud at the same time. It's been a very useful book for me when bad shit happens. I'm sure you agree with the picture I took from the book.. it really is all small stuff. No need to sweat it, yanno :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend - Cheers to another week!
