Today I'm sharing Week 6, not week 7, of Project Life. Apparently, I've been too excitamated about this project and I got ahead of myself. I changed the 7 to a 6 but didn't think it was worth taking another picture so.. just think week 6!
I added some pictures from my Weekend Snapshots because why not, right? I also added a second page with some stickers by BasicGrey. Follow the link below to check it out. :)
This week I stuck with a greenish-turquoise color as the main color. I used my Silhouette Portrait for the first time in months by cutting out week "7" in white and gluing it to the flowery card. I thought it matched the main color well plus added some additional colors. Note to self: Use Silhouette mucho mas!
I added a quote from my timehop last year that really stuck with me. I also printed it out and put it on my cork board above my work station. Positive words are great when you're stuck in a rut. I'm sure you noticed the tree on my journaling.. that's cause you don't need to know allladat! LOL!
I wanted to add the photos from the event I attended but I wasn't going to have enough room. I opened up the SELPHY Photo Editor on my laptop and created a collage of pictures. Not the best collage, but it works for me!
Eventually, I did run out of room and because I didn't want to mess up the rotation.. I just added another page with pretty paper. I searched my pretty paper stash for something that would match the theme. Once I found it, I cut it to the size I wanted and added the smaller printed photos. I've been hoarding these awesome Attach Me Stickers by BasicGrey and finally got the chance to use them. For a minute there I thought I had lost them. Whew! I found red, blue and black on Amazon but I'm sure you can find clear ones somewhere.
What is Project Life? Project Life is a memory-keeping system created by Becky Higgins. You use pictures with some journaling for each week of the year for an entire year. This is my second year (does last year even count?) doing PL & I'm excited to follow through.. I organize my PL journaling cards by size, 3x4 or 6x4, not by who makes them. I do all my paper crafting goodies this way. Because of this, I won't be able to break each item down to the brand. But if I remember, I remember, haha!
