The mister and I (+ our pack) are moving at the end of August. While packing my books up, I found this book --> 642 Things to Write About by the San Francisco Writers' Grotto. I think it may have been gifted to me for Christmas one year, not sure. I think I scanned it a bit but I never wrote in it. I do remember thinking that I wouldn't write in it, but that I would write my answers in a spiral of some sort. You know, in case I'd like to gift it or share it with someone else. I've never considered myself a writer. Being a blogger doesn't necessarily make me a legit writer. Especially since my vocabulary is full of fantastical (& sometimes creative) curse words LOL

E & I had a four day weekend in what seems to be our favorite place this summer, Kingsland, Texas. It really is a fantastical getaway. This time we invited a few of our good friends. Two from Houston and one from Austin. We have fun when it's just the two of us but we thought of inviting some friends so they could enjoy the good times too.
Not only did we get to enjoy the long weekend with good folks but we went to IN-N-OUT. At some point, they opened up a restaurant in Austin and I had no freaking clue. I knew there was one in Round Rock, but I had no idea they had opened in Austin. Imagine my surprise when we were heading to Old Navy (thanks Google Maps) and we saw the In-N-Out across the freeway. There was no way I could pass it up. I haven't had grub there since my last trip to Cali and that was over two years ago. I just had to go! Not everyone was as hype as I was or really interested but it was a must for me!! I was not disappointed and I even asked E if we could hit them up on our way back home but it really wasn't on our way so I passed. I will be back though, that's for sure!
Thanks Jessica for being freaking awesome and bringing your super duper awesome waterproof camera. Gotta get me one of those! I also took some pictures with my cell phone using the Aduro waterproof smart bag that I bought through LivingSocial for I think $9. Definitely recommend it.
I normally do this post on Monday but I was still on "weekend" mode. My bad :)

I've been a Batman fan for as long as I can remember. I'm a huge fan of the Michael Keaton Batman.. I'm pretty sure its because he has the coolest gadgets and he wears black, one of my favorite colors. His batmobile is so badass too! I own the Blu Ray & DVDs for both movies, Batman & Batman Returns. I can watch them over and over again. #dontjudgeme.
I also really enjoyed Jack Nicholson as the Joker and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. Oh, who can forget Danny Devito's portrayal as Penguin. Haysoos! Watching movies from the the early 90's makes me laugh. The acting is a bit cheesy but the effects are so different. None of this CGI crap where you don't know what's real or fake. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching movies/tv shows that use CGI but there's nothing like noticing the fake background and cracking up over it haha!
Batman will always be my favorite superhero. I really enjoyed the last three with Christian Bale but I'm not looking forward to the new Batman played by Ben Affleck. Why you ask?! Because Ben Affleck. LOL!

..and I'm still slacking on my memory keeping. -shrugs- Who cares?! Not me :) These two weeks are nothing to write home about. Very, very basic & I don't mind it.

We didn't celebrate Independence Day like we usually do. With a new kid in the house, we wanted to make sure everything went smoothly for him with the new experience. Oh, there was also the fact that we were feeling super duper lazy. Yeah, that helped a lot :)

If you haven't already heard (or seen), Michael Bay (Transformers) has a new TV series out on TNT called The Last Ship. TNT is one of those channels I hardly ever watch. I'm not much of a channel flipper either since I have a cable guide and really don't need to flip channel by channel. A coworker actually told me about the show. I love spoilers so she basically told me everything that happened in the first episode to get me sucked in.
