Sleepyti.me Calculator

Lately E and I have been going to sleep late, like midnight late. That's totally not like us. We normally go to bed around 10-10:30 PM. Going to sleep late means dreading to get out of bed the next day. I wake up at 5:30 AM in order to be at work at 7 AM. My drive is roughly 30-45 min. Yeah it kinda sucks but if there's no accidents, my drive is pretty smooth. I should mention that due to going to bed late, I've been getting out of bed later and later... making me late to work.. SMH! & srsly motivating me to play the Texas Lotto... yet I still don't..


Anyways, I checked my email this morning and saw an email from Netted by the Webbys. I've been receiving the newsletter for a couple years now. Every now and then they have sites or apps that I've never heard of but are extremely useful to me. Kind of like today..

'sleepyti.me works by counting backwards in sleep cycles. Sleep cycles typically last 90 minutes.
Waking up in the middle of a sleep cycle leaves you feeling tired and groggy, but waking up in between cycles lets you wake up feeling refreshed and alert!'

If you think about it, it totally makes sense. If you know what time you have to wake up, it'll tell you different times to go to bed that would be more fulfilling to your busy cabeza and exhausted body. I'm going to see if falling asleep at the times it told me actually work for me.. Not tonight though cause it's Frrrrriiidaaaayyy!! & I have a three-day weekend because E's 30th birthday is Sunday. ;]

You should try to fall asleep at one of the following times:

8:30 PM or 10:00 PM or 11:30 PM or 1:00 AM

Please keep in mind that you should be falling asleep at these times.

The average adult human takes fourteen minutes to fall asleep, so plan accordingly!
