Klout's mission is to empower every person by unlocking their influence. The Klout Score, a number between one and 100, is a representation of your overall social media influence. The science behind the Score examines more than 400 variables on multiple social networks beyond your number of followers and friends. It looks at who is engaging with your content and who they are sharing it with. - Via Klout's About page.I've been a part of Klout for some time now and really enjoy the perks and giving my friends points for different topics in which I feel they influence me in. I love watching my score go up but get sad when it goes down. For some odd reason I went from 61 two days ago to 56 and haven't really changed anything. I keep sharing on all social networks and continue to receive 'likes', RT's, or comments - Not sure what's going on there. No biggie though.
Last week (or maybe the week before?!) I claimed a perk for my fur-kids on Klout. They sent me three bags of Hill's Science Diet® Ideal Balance™ dog treats. Veggie Chips with Pumpkin & Yam, Jerky Strips with Real Beef, and Fruity Snacks with Cranberries & Oatmeal. Check out the pictures of my kids and treats. You'd think we starved them or something Lol!
Jayla (Boxer) has always been the greediest of our kids. She literally drools when food is involved haha! She also knows that she won't get anything unless she sits. Normally she parks her butt pretty fast. She prefers the beef jerky over the rest. Can't blame her!
When treats are involved Leana (Jack Russell) is always the furthest away. I think it's cause she knows her size and rather not get stepped on by the big dogs. Remi (Shepherd Mix) started off not being gentle at all when we gave him treats, but then again, living on the streets for the first year of his life, it was expected. With practice he's become very gentle and attentive to the commands we give in order to receive the treat.
It really looks like Remi is smiling at the treat in this picture. Maybe he thinks if he smiles that he'll get the treat?! Haha! He liked the Fruity Snacks the most, obviously. Leana will take all of the treats, she's not picky Lol!
I'm not sure if Jayla is looking at me or the treat. Chances are it's the treat. Haha! Having five dogs does take a toll on you. No let me take that back, it takes a toll on the house and backyard LOL! But the love and affection they show me is worth every minute of it. I truly love these kids as if they were my blood and will do just about anything for them. The fact that Klout and Hill's offered this perk to me made me super excitamated. The kids totally knew what was in the box when the UPS guy dropped it off too. :] Thanks so much Klout and Hill's for hooking my kids up with nomnoms for their bellies.
Another thing Klout hooked me up with is free Moo.com business cards. All I had to pay was the shipping, which came out to $5.50 or so. Not bad for a pack of 50 cards that I am planning on taking to LATISM'12, my first conference, at the end of this month. I love to share so of course I'm going to show you what I decided to put on them. Check it out below. Tell me what you think. :]
Again, thanks Klout for these awesome perks. Sharing on social networks and influencing my friends does have it's perks. :]
Have a great weekend everyone.. GO TEXANS!!
..till next time ;]
